Ofer Maor, CTO & Founder of Mitiga, is a prominent security professional with over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, primarily focusing on application and cloud security.
Before founding Mitiga, a leader in Cloud Threat Detection, Investigation & Response Automation, he served as the CTO & Founder of Seeker, where he pioneered IAST, a next-generation application security testing technology, which was later acquired by Synopsys.
Prior to Seeker, he was the CTO & Founder of Hacktics, a company specializing in application security penetration testing and consulting, which was acquired by EY, and was previously a founding employee at Imperva, the world’s leading WAF provider, which he joined after completing his military service in the Israeli Intelligence.
Throughout his career, Mr. Maor has been an active thought leader in the cybersecurity community, and he has been speaking in leading security conferences for over two decades. He has been acknowledged as a “Top-Rated Speaker” in RSA Conference two years in a row now, and has been invited to be part of the RSA Conference program committee.
He was previously a Member of the Global Board for OWASP, as well as the chairman of OWASP Israel, and the chair of multiple OWASP conferences.
