Holds a PhD in applied physics from the Hebrew University, serves on the board of Amdocs, on the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Defense and served as Chairman of Tel Aviv University.
He is an active Founding Investor of a group of high-tech and med-tech companies; P-cube (acquired by Cisco), PentaCom (acquired by Cisco), Qumranet (acquired by Redhat), Comsys (acquired by Conexant, Texas Instruments), Itamar Medical (acquired by Zoll) ,Hyperwise Security (acquired by Checkpoint), Apolicy (Acquired by Sysdig] Qwilt, , Vulcan Security, Ionex, Affogato, Illumex, MultyX, Kubiya.AI, Privia.AI, SpeeDB, Port.AI and Salto Systems.
Served as Chairman of the Board of Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP) and has served as President of Indigo NV, leading the company to an NASDAQ IPO. Prior to joining Indigo served as corporate Vice President of National Semiconductor [NSC] and was the Founder of NSC wafer fab in Israel (today Tower-Jazz Semiconductors)
