Kai started his career in the IT security domain in 2010 as an IT security consultant and has spent the last six years working as an Incident Response Specialist at an international cybersecurity and antivirus vendor, most recently in the role of a Lead Incident Response Specialist.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in building digital forensic labs and responding to different variants of cyber incidents around the world. In addition to developing and delivering DFIR training globally, he has also designed, conducted and evaluated cyber tabletop exercises and built and managed a group of TTX experts.
Kai holds several international certifications (GCFA, GCFE, ECIR, ECTHP, CCSK, CISM, ISO/IEC 27035 Lead Incident Manager, PECB Certified Lead Crisis Manager, etc.) as well as a Diploma in Business Informatics from a University of Applied Sciences and a M.Sc. in Digital Forensics.
