Len Khodorkovsky is the Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue University, which is focused on ensuring that technology advances freedom.

Prior to joining the Krach Institute, he served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Digital Strategy, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Special Representative for Iran, and Chief Marketing Officer of America’s economic diplomacy.

The Jerusalem Post called Len “The State Department’s secret weapon.”

While in government, Len played a key role in bringing TSMC, Taiwan’s semiconductor giant, to the United States, launching and growing the Clean Network Alliance of Democracies, which rallied 60 countries and more than 200 telecommunications companies worldwide to secure global 5G infrastructure, and initiating the eventual $280 billion CHIPS and Science Act.

Prior to his service in the U.S. government, Len was an advertising and marketing executive for more than two decades, helping Fortune 100 companies grow their business.

Len also co-founded Yalla, an Arabic-language online platform covering news from the Middle East and North Africa. He has written extensively on U.S. foreign policy, the Middle East, and the growing wave of antisemitism. He appears regularly on news programs around the world as a foreign policy and tech diplomacy analyst.
