Omri Brinner is a counter terror financing consultant with a proven record of identifying, mitigating and preventing terror financing activity. He partners with financial institutions, marketplaces, social media companies, consultancies, regulators, and state agencies, looking to counter terror financing activity by improving knowledge and controls, strategizing efforts, and promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Thus far, Omri has mapped dozens of terror financing networks and has created a database of individuals, companies, and accounts that are involved in terror financing.
Aside from his work on terror financing, Omri is a Research Fellow at ITSS Verona, an Italian-English think tank that specializes in security, where he leads the Middle East team and writes, lectures and co-hosts a podcast on Middle Eastern geopolitics.
Omri holds an MA in Terrorism and Security Studies from King’s College London (UK) and a BA in History from San Jose State University (USA).
